TV War Journalist Announces Pregnancy

TV journalist Lara Logan, who is chief foreign affairs correspondent for CBS News and is known for her intrepid war coverage, has announced that she is pregnant and due in January. The baby's father is Joseph Burkett, a married federal contractor in the middle of divorcing his wife, and whom she met while stationed in Iraq.

Lara is also going through a divorce from Jason Siemon, an energy lobbyist whom she married in 1998. Even though the pregnancy was unplanned, she is looking forward to being a mom, and that she and Burkett plan to marry eventually.
